This is not a typo. KRS-One is making a rare San Diego appearance at 710 Beach Club, and though we don't often get to Pacific Beach for live music, this is definitely one worth the trip. The famous Boogie Down Productions rapper is performing, and if it was only a DJ set, it might not tickle your fancy, but live his unique style and status as an OG rapper is worth noting. Around town, Flamingosis play at Casbah, pop-punkers Piebald play at Soda Bar and the b-boy championships narrow down their finalists for the second day at World Beat Center.
