Sounds Like San Diego: January 2

The Heart Beat Trail and Star Jungle usher in a new Tuesday night series at the Merrow hosted by Tim Pyles

It is always a little quiet right after Christmas and New Year's Day but there are still some fun choices this Tuesday night if you have the itch to get out. For something kinda different, head to La Bodega Gallery for Rumba Descarga -- an improv Latin jam session. And speaking of improv, Star Jungle is a newish collective of San Diego musicians who are getting some strong word of mouth and tonight they headline the Merrow with the Heart Beat Trail. On top of all that, tonight is the first night that our own Tim Pyles has booked a Tuesday night showcase at the Hillcrest venue.
