The ladies are at the top of our list this Thursday night, though there is certainly something for everyone. At the top of my personal list is Mary Timony, legendary frontwoman of '90s alt-rockers Helium. She'll be playing some old jams, and she's joined by Allison Crutchfield (sister of Waxahatchee) who is amazing in her own right. For the massive show of the night, Lana Del Rey will break your heart at Valley View Casino Center, and country star Miranda Lambert plays Viejas Arena. Caifanes added a second show after their Sunday sellout, so you can catch them again at Observatory, or slam a PBR (or three) at Soda Bar for the Awesome Fest pre-fest. As a note, pay attention this weekend because all Awesome-Fest showcases require a wristband, and they always sell out, so check the details here.
