Sounds Like San Diego: December 5

Angus & Julia Stone head up San Diego's Tuesday night live-music options

It's very possible that somehow I missed a show or two over the years, but the last time I saw Angus and Julia Stone, the Aussie brother-sister duo were playing to a small crowd at the Loft at UCSD. The audience was hushed and hung on every word and clearly, the two have a way of charming audiences because their show tonight at the Observatory is completely sold out. If you didn't snag tickets, you might try for the equally lovely Nicole Atkins at Soda Bar. If you're in the mood for a heavier show, the Used play House of Blues with our friends Buckfast Superbee opening the show, and for hip-hop heads, Murs is at the Casbah. Those are some great options for a Tuesday night, so take advantage before you get lost in the holiday rush around that will inevitably take over your life in the coming weeks.
