Sounds Like San Diego: December 27

Henry Rollins heads up a spoken-word, seated show at the Observatory tonight

It's not a science, but it's my guess that Henry Rollins plans his tours for every election cycle. Sadly, I don't think he, like many of us, expected the result we got (as evidenced by his strongly worded columns in LA Weekly). Nonetheless, you can expect tonight's seated show, which tends to be less spoken word than just him storytelling, will be Rollins' musing about his life and travels, and the state of the world. I can hardly wait. If you didn't score tickets, however, you can catch our buddies Grim Slippers at Soda Bar, a Tony Hawk Foundation benefit at Belly Up, or DJ Artistic's final Hip Hop Battle Bot of the year. If you're looking for just a chill and quiet entertaining night, catch the Blink tribute at Blonde.
