This week, coming off of Christmas and leading into the festivities of New Year's Eve, is going to be relatively quiet but that doesn't mean that there aren't great reasons to get out on the town this week. Tonight, it's the final Hip-Hop Battle Bot of the year and it seems every event is bigger and badder than the one before so if you love all things hip-hop, this night certainly has something special for you at the Casbah. Meanwhile, San Diego band Velour play Soda Bar, and DJ Anja Stax takes to the ones and twos at Bar Pink. With a few other early evening and scattered options around town, you should be able to rustle up a good time in San Diego if you're ready to get this week back on the party tip.
