For many people, this time of year can be particularly stressful or challenging, and for all of those people, this weekend has plenty of fun live events to keep your spirits up. At the Observatory, legendary punk band X are joined by Meat Puppets and Mike Watt for a California punk extravaganza, while the lady rockers of L.A. Witch return to the Casbah. The English Beat play the first of two sold-out nights at the Belly Up and our local friends Dead Feather Moon headline the night at Soda Bar. If jazz is your thing, local talent Chase Morrin plays at Dizzy's, and B-Side Players spread the Latin vibes at Winston's.
