Oh, December, you're killing me already. We have pretty amazing weather here, why don't all those crazy East Coasters stuck in snowy, cold places want to come visit us in December? Well, it's hump day, so there aren't a ton of shows, but you can still have a pretty great night with a local jam at Casbah with Fuzz Huzzi or Tape Heads at Soda Bar. Phutureprimitive play a show at the Irenic, and Gil Castellanos continues his jazz jam at Panama 66. My choice of the night, however, is at Til-Two Club. You never know when Tiltwheel is gonna play again, so you always have to catch them when you can, and with Western Settings and Gentlemen Prefer Blood on the bill, this is one midweek show that is definitely worth your while.
