Sounds Like San Diego: Aug. 28

Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears headline the Casbah on Sunday

It's been a great weekend in San Diego, but if you haven't had your fill of lively music, head to the Casbah to see Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears. The Austin-based band has been around for a decade, and in that time they have played just about every festival around, bringing their unique blend of soul, funk and rock to the masses. If that's not enough motivation, Vaud & the Villians return to the Belly Up, rapper Pouya is at the Observatory and the Atomic Bitchwax play Soda Bar. If you're in the mood to kick it lounge-style at sunset, catch a free show at Loews with Creepxotica for Tiki by the Bay.
