This has been a super great wekeend of music, but it doesn't have to come to an end just yet. A few options are already sold out (Flume and Dillinger Escape Plan), and the B-52s and Demi Lovato & Nick Jonas shows are nearly sold out, but I think where you really want to be tonight is Soda Bar. The Old '97s frontman, Rhett Miller, is back in town. He's been loyally playing San Diego at least once a year for the greater part of a decade, and he carries this energy that makes you feel like you're part of an experience and not just watching a dude playing guitar. Still, there are other options, including Marianas Trench at House of Blues, CityFest in Hillcrest, and Galactic perform at Belly Up.
