I have to admit that the last time I saw Foxygen perform, I was curious about the future of the band. I can't speak from any insider information, but the group seemed to be, well, tense. The performance was awesome, don't get me wrong, but there weren't warm fuzzies emanating from the band members. It wasn't clear that they would survive as a touring band. Maybe it was just the night, perhaps there was some tension that actually drives and pushes the band, but I'm happy to see they're back for a show, this time at the Belly Up. Maybe the love the fans have shed upon the band made Foxygen stronger. Whatever the case may be, the band should deliver a solid performance at what is definitely a show worth checking out.
