It has certainly been a great week for music in San Diego, and on Thursday, that fun continues with plenty of shows around town to satisfy your urge for tunes. Kicking off the list, UK's latest export that has all the alternative stations doing metaphoric hand stands are the Struts. With San Diego's very own Big Bad Buffalo opening the show, this one is not to be missed or you'll be trying to get a ticket in a much larger venue next time around. At the Casbah, Creature & the Woods keep things cool, while Happyness shake things up at Soda bar. For our pop fans, Nicki Minaj is at Sleep Train with Meek Mill, and up at the Belly Up, a special evening is planned with Vonda Shepard, who you might remember from her appearances and Emmys earned when a little show called "Ally McBeal" ruled the small screen back in the day. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention that the Che Cafe is still trudging along, trying to work a deal with UCSD, so check out the show this evening and support the collective in its unending struggle at the University.
