Tuesdays don't always offer up a bounty of music options -- but tonight, that is certainly not true. I mean, with Boychick at Space, Avi Buffalo at Blonde, and the Rocketboys at Soda Bar, you're already in pretty good shape for a great night, but then you consider Abba: The Concert is a pretty huge event at Sycuan and AFI and Circa Survive at Open Air Theatre is gonna be packed, too. But above all of those shows, is Huey Lewis & the News. I know people might have associations of the cheesy '80s or younger people might think it's cute or ironic to see the band, but I have to tell you, after seeing the anniversary of "Sports" tour, I was definitely a convert and can tell you that Huey Lewis & the News rocks, whether you're in the crowd or a freeloader in a canoe, boat, or kayak floating outside of Humphreys Concerts By the Bay. Grab a lifejacket and strap in for a really, really fun night.
