Sounds Like San Diego: April 3

The Foo Fighters' Chris Shiflett comes back to town

Foo Fighters are one of the biggest rock bands in the world, so it's cool that lead guitarist Chris Shiflett always rolls through San Diego when they're off tour. He was last here opening for one of the X shows around Christmas, but he was also a part of the Revival tour that would come through regularly. Tonight, he's headlining the Casbah, and if you don't have plans, you should make this part of your night to see one of the true gentlemen of rock 'n' roll. Meanwhile, third grade me is aghast that Tiffany is playing the Belly Up. Her teen pop rivalry with Debbie Gibson was a big deal back in the day, but I was always team Tiffany. Grab your jelly bracelets, throw your hair in a scrunchie and head to the Belly Up tonight. Around town, Paper Void play Soda Bar, Shinedown rocks the first of two nights at House of Blues and Three One G hosts another night at Blonde.
