Sounds Like San Diego: April 24

Your Friday night is stacked with some amazing live shows. The Casbah hosts singer Matt Pond PA while Nikki Lane drops in at Soda Bar. Turbo Fruits and Eternal Summers are a great double bill at the Merrow, and the Dead Milkmen perform at the Belly Up. Probably the most spectacular show is the "It's Gonna Blow" fundraiser at the Ken Club, which sees the first aMiniature show since LiveWire's 20th Anniversary Party a few years back. The documentary has been making a splash since it was first screened, and with plans to take it nationwide, they need your support to give the country a broader view of San Diego beyond killer whales and sports franchises. If you're looking to see the local scene firsthand, drop by the Lafayette Hotel for the second round of unveilings for El Cajon Boulevard banners, which will certainly be a who's who of San Diego flavor.
