Beer Camp: California beer company Sierra Nevada is holding a contest to find the participants for 2010 camp. Make that camps.
Dates: There are two sessions: September 1-2 and September 2-3.
Location: Sierra Nevada HQ in Chico.
Deal: In short, tell Sierra Nevada, via video, why you deserve to learn the art of brewmastery. There are entries already up on the site that are impressive. There's a look at one man's homebrewery; other images show fans out and about with their favorite brews. Get creative in the singing of your suds.
Camp culture: You'll learn the what-fors of fermenting and hops and body. You'll see the innerworkings of Sierra-Nevada-dom. You'll get to make your own foamy concoction with co-campers, and you'll get to name your beer, too, along with your co-campers.
