SD Maritime Museum Celebrates Parade of Lights

The museum will offer the best seats for the annual parade.

The San Diego Parade of Lights is coming back for its 40th anniversary, and the best place to watch it is right on the bay.

The Maritime Museum of San Diego will be holding their annual holiday buffet and viewing party on Sunday, Dec. 8. The event will take place on board the historic ferryboat Berkeley.

Judges for the parade will be stationed aboard the Berkeley as brightly decorated boats pass by. Along with up-close seating to the parade, those aboard the ferryboat will have access to a delicious holiday buffet and no-host bar from 5 to 9 p.m.

Tickets for the event include museum admission and are $50 for adults and $25 for children ages 6 to 12. Children under 5 are free. To purchase tickets, visit the museum website.

In celebration of the holidays, the Maritime Museum of San Diego is encouraging participants to bring along a new, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots program.
