Sounds Like San Diego: July 24

Wednesday's got some great shows in store if you know where to look -- that's where we come in

We're in the peak of summer, so an outdoor concert might be just the thing you need. Tonight, you're in luck with the return of Rodrigo y Gabriela, playing at Humphreys. The instrumental guitar duo's phenomenal style and skill has always wowed, and they're touring on a new record to boot. Meanwhile, another summer staple is the return of Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven, and Belly Up's air conditioning can hold up to the task of a rowdy crowd basking in the 'college radio' tunes of yore. Around town, The Dropscience headline the Casbah, Squarecrow's at Bar Pink, and beachy garage act Nanami Ozone play Soda Bar.
