Rescuers Pluck Men From Storm-Tossed Boat

A daring rescue by lifeguards in the wee hours of Monday  was caught on tape.

The dramatic change in weather San Diego experienced over the weekend may be to blame for causing a 42-foot sail boat to run aground. The boat ran aground at about 4 a.m. on MOnday.

Imperial Beach lifeguards rescued two men on board the boat. According to rescue crews, the men in their mid-50s were returning from a trip to Mexico.

They were not seriously hurt.
