Puck Daddy hockey rumors live chat

After two days of Peter Forsberg's potential resurrection for another quarter-season of NHL hockey, the Denver Post reports from "people in the know" that the New York Rangers "may well trade" Chris Drury to make room for Mats Sundin. And if the Rangers can get him to waive his NTC, send him through waivers and pick up only half his salary, then perhaps Colorado might be a suitable destination for him.

You think, post-Sakic, that Colorado Avalanche fans and media are grasping for any kind of hope at this point?

But hey: anything can happen. If the guy who made "300" can release a "Watchmen" movie in 2009, then anything can happen. It they're making a sequel to "Tron" in 3-D, then anything can happen.

We'll talk Drury, Sundin, Forsberg, Marian Gaborik, the Rangers, the Washington Capitals, the Chicago Blackhawks and all sorts of other scuttlebutt in the our weekly rumors chat at 1 p.m. EST.

Please join Lyle "Spector" Richardson of Fox Sports and David "Dave" Pagnotta of The Fourth Period for all the fun. We're taking a week off on Dec. 24, but we'll have one more chat on Dec. 31 to close out the year. Bring the funny, and make it count.
