Project Runway fashion designer Nick Verreos showed off some of his newest designs Wednesday at San Diego’s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM). Verreos, a FIDM graduate and instructor, presented his designs at a reception for the campus re-opening. His NIKOLAKI line gowns offer new looks for the holiday season.
FIDM, which has been a part of the San Diego community since 1985, hosted the holiday show to celebrate the revealing of its new campus location right next to PETCO Park in East Village. Renowned Los Angeles architect, Clive Wilkinson headed the project.
Verreos earned his fame as a contestant on Project Runway’s second season and has since designed looks for glamorous Hollywood celebs like Eva Longoria, Heidi Klum, and Patricia Arquette.
