The two words “Irish music” usually brings to mind some cheesy dance where you’re not allowed to move your arms. If Riverdancing ain’t your thang, then maybe you might try listening to a little band called U2.
The great Irishmen are touring again—and with no signs of stopping it would seem. Despite huge demands for the rockers, the band is only going to be playing one California date for their 360° Tour, on October 25 at the Rose Bowl. Yeah, one!
Tickets go on sale Monday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m. for the low, low price of $251.50 (Yes, that is about the price of a 3-day pass to Coachella). The cheapies are $31.50, but chances are you’ll probably pay $56.50, the price for General Admission to the field. Tickets can be purchased at either LiveNation.com or Ticketmaster.com (Hooray for monopolies! So good for the consumer!) or Ticketmaster retail outlets including all Macy’s, F.Y.E., Wherehouse Music, and Ritmo Latino locations. Charge by phone at (213) 480-3232, (714) 740-2000 or (805) 583-8700.
