Aside from many prominent collaborations, Lennon also fronts the band the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger.
The duo, collectively called the Claypool Lennon Delirium released their first studio album in 2016.
"Monolith of Phobos," released on June 3, 2016, received general acclaim from critics and public alike.
In 2017, they released an EP of covers called "Lime and Limpid Green."
This year, they'll release "South of Reality."
The new LP will be out on Feb. 22.
According to a Rolling Stone article, "Lennon, who was admittedly a bit intimidated years ago before his first jam session with Claypool, felt more at ease during their most recent sessions. However, he still describes Claypool as a disciplined 'ship captain' who expects his musicians to be prepared on day one of any rehearsal."
