The 2017 Summer Slaughter Tour brought a huge metal circus through House of Blues San Diego on Aug. 13 with the Black Dahlia Murder, Origin, AngelMaker, Rings of Saturn, and more!

The Black Dahlia Murder was one of this year’s co-headliners (along with Dying Fetus). As one would assume, the band’s name is derived from the unsolved 1947 murder of Elizabeth Short (often referred to as the Black Dahlia).

Betraying the Martyrs also joined this year's Summer Slaughter tour -- all the way from Paris, France! The metalcore/deathcore group, which was founded in 2008, released their third studio album, “The Resilient,” earlier this year.
