Soda Bar always pops off with a rad show on New Year’s Eve, and this year is no exception: One of our local faves, the Donkeys, rings in 2017 along with a performance by Extra Classic. Show starts at 8:30 p.m. and tickets are $20 at sodabarmusic.com.

The Lafayette Hotel banks big on local music with “On with the Show: Psychedelic Masquerade” hosted by the Redwoods Records label and featuring more than 10 San Diego bands like Oh Spirit, the Schizophonics Soul Revue (pictured), the Verigolds and more. One of the biggest NYE parties San Diego sees each year is the annual three-day OMFG! NYE shindig that LED Presents throws at Valley View Casino Center on Dec. 29-31. This year’s lineup features Adventure Club, Bro Safari, DJ Snake, Anna Lunoe (pictured), Grandtheft, Jack Beats, Kill Paris, and more. Shows are 18-plus, start at 9 p.m. and tickets are $195.
Experience a two-day extravaganza dubbed Infinity New Year’s Eve 2017 at the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center on Dec. 30 and 31 (9 p.m.-3 a.m.) with Dada Life, Dillon Francis (pictured), Flux Pavilion, Lumberjvck, G-Eazy, and much more.
