Beer, Babes & Bats on the Beach

Over-The-Line Tournament fundraises for the community

Did someone say “beer, babes and bats on the beach?”

Serving amateur sports and youth athletics, Old Mission Beach Athletic Club finds fun more than just “beer, babes and bats on the beach.”

Old Mission Beach Athletic Clubs mission is to give back to the community by bringing men and women athletes together to compete in year round charitable programs such as Over-The-Line.

The 59th Annual World Championship Over-The-Line Tournament, a form of softball, will have approximately 1,200 teams of three to compete against one another. The event began in 1964, bringing together friends with a strong desire for having fun.

An estimated of 50,000 expected attendees will attend this event. The game starts at 7:30 a.m. until dark, so be sure to arrive on time.

The free event will be held on July 21 and July 22 at Fiesta Island on Mission Bay.
