A man suffered serious head injuries Sunday when he fell from a roof while hanging Christmas lights, according to a published report.
At about 2:45 p.m., firefighters and deputies were called to the 1100 block of Highland Heights Lane after a 55-year-old man had fallen from a single-story home, officials told the North County Times.
The man appeared to have fallen directly on his head and suffered serious injuries, they said.
He was taken in an ambulance to Palomar Hospital in Escondido. Neither his condition nor his prognosis was available Sunday evening.
