Sounds Like San Diego: April 9

Lincoln Durham, T-Pain, the Mondegreens and more hit stages around town Tuesday

I'm sure many of you have sights on the weekend with massive events like Coachella, Record Store Day, and Escalera Fest coming up, but for those of us who still want to get out on a weeknight, there's plenty of reasons to do so tonight. At the Casbah, Lincoln Durham returns to town with his Southern Gothic one-man-band sounds that you might identify as country-punk or punky-country, but either way you slice it, it's an intriguing sound that will satisfy your earholes. Meanwhile, the Mondegreens sound like they took sweet '60s harmonies to inform their modern indie-folk sound and tonight, you can catch them at Soda Bar. Around town, rapper T-Pain plays a sold-out show at The Observatory North Park, Jimmie Vaughn -- older brother of Stevie Ray -- plays the Belly Up, and 91x's Tim Pyles hosts his Tuesday night showcase at the Merrow with the Tale headlining the night.
