Last Day to See Tall Ship Battle on Bay

Be on deck as the Californian and the Lynx square off this weekend

It's a page out of history as two ships from the 1800's square off this weekend on the bay and trade cannon shots across the water.

The Californian, a replica of a Coast Guard Revenue Cutter, and the Privateer, Lynx will set sail at 9:30 Saturday and Sunday for a day of sightseeing and the occasional battle scene.

You can catch the excitement from shore at the Embarcadero or from Shelter or Harbor Islands.  Better yet, you can be part of the crew and tag along.
