There are so many cool shows today and tonight. The Belly Up especially is going to be bumpin' with two sold out events. By day, it's the return of the Banding Together benefit show, which sold out in a heartbeat when Jason Mraz announced an appearance. By night, my longtime friend Steve Poltz holds his 10th Annual 50th Birthday Party, which is always a massive spectacle and also sold out quite quickly. At the Casbah, King Tuff ended up selling out last night and might do it again tonight, so get your tickets early. Thumpasaurus were just in San Diego in December, but they're back this time with an all ages show at the Voodoo Room, and '80s rockers Berlin are definitely worth the drive to Ramona Mainstage. If you wanna keep it local, support the 10 year anniversary of alt-country rockers and friends of the scene, Rio Peligroso, who play at Bar Pink with some friends and surprises.
