Tree goes up in Ocean Beach


Gather round the fire pit for the Yule log, surfer dudes.

The 30th Annual Ocean Beach Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, and on Tuesday, the San Diego community put up its Christmas tree. the pine stands roughly 50 feet tall and was donated by a San Diego resident.
The tree was placed in the beach not far from the boardwalk, in the same spot it has been placed for the past 30 years.
The festivities will be going on all day on Saturday. The parade kicks off at 5 p.m.
