It's not a done deal yet, but In-N-Out Executive Vice President Carl Van Fleet said the company has its eyes on a vacant parcel in Poway, our media partner the North County Times reported.
The location is at Community Road and Scripps Poway Parkway in the city's business park. The thought of the burger chain opening a local restaurant has had people buzzing, the paper reported.
"We've been hearing very positive statements," said Poway Economic Development Administrator Kim Schmidt about what people have been saying about the burger chain's plans.
Schmidt said Poway residents have wanted an In-N-Out Burger in their city for a long time, and he has heard of people personally writing the company asking it to open a restaurant in the city.
