This weekend, thousands will decend upon Desert Daze, an amazingly billed camp-out and music festival. With bands like Tame Impala and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, and even My Bloody Valentine headlining, it's going to be an indie summit. But before all of that, you get the opportunity to see the wonderfully delightful Hinds play at the Irenic. The four-piece all- female band from Madrid hasn't been to San Diego since 2015, and in that time have released a new record, played all over the globe, and even played the "Cars" theme song for the Spanish version of "Cars 3." The ladies are back at the Irenic tonight for an all-ages show and it is going to be amazing. Around town, locals Nicely rock your face at the Casbah, Wicked Echoes play at Bar Pink, and Ex-Cult headline at Space.
