Sounds Like San Diego: Feb. 5

MØ, the chart-topping Danish electro-pop star, headlines the Observatory North Park Tuesday

There are some killer shows tonight, but again, we've got a couple sell-outs already before the day even begins. If you're holding a ticket for Gang of Four at the Casbah, get there early for our friends and locals Scary Pierre, who bring some serious vibe to any lineup they're on (check out the SoundDiego interview with Gang of Four's Andy Gill here). At the Observatory North Park, you can catch the return of MØ, whose current chart-topping hit with Foster the People has brought her more into the mainstream, though she has plenty of fans of her electronic-pop sounds already. Tulengua play at Soda Bar, Blackberry Smoke headline their second night of Southern rock at the Belly Up, and DaniLeigh makes her Voodoo Room debut with a sold-out show there. It's sometimes hard to rally when the weather turns on us, but sometimes you've got to suck it up, throw on an extra layer or two, and find some amazing music.
