This Father’s Day Weekend, check out the best of Downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp District by participating in the “Taste of Gaslamp” food sampling event.
What is great about this event is for only $30 per day, you are free to sample and experience over 60 unique and well known venues that the Gaslamp District has to offer, in any order that you please.
More than 30 restaurants will offer samples on Saturday, June 18th and Sunday, June 19th from 1:00-4:00pm.
To attend this event, you must bring your E-Ticket to the Latitude Lounge at the San Diego Marriott Gaslamp Quarter, 660 K Street San Diego, CA 92101, where it will be scanned for authenticity.
Using a walking map, you can tour the area for everything from appetizers to desserts.
Here is a list of several of the 30+ restaurants and lounges that you can look forward to visiting on Saturday, June 18th: Airr Supper Club & Night Club, Bandar Restaurant, Dick’s Last Resort, Hennessey’s Tavern, House of Blues, Palm Restaurant, Solei @k Restaurant, Taste & Thirst on Fourth, and The Melting Pot, Fondue Restaurant.
In addition, artist Christopher M will be at at the Exclusive Collections Fine Art Gallery at 568 5th Ave. Saturday.
On Sunday, the following spots are taking part: Bare Back Grill, Gaslamp Tavern, Hard Rock Café, Hooters, McCormick & Schmicks, Ocean Room, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza, Tequila 100, Voyeur, and Whiskey Girl.
Last but not least, from 2 - 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, The Sam Adams Beer Garden will be featuring samples at the Altitude Sky Lounge on the Rooftop at 660 K St.
