If dad wants to see a baseball stadium up close, take him on a behind the scene tour of Petco Park. An expert shows off the best the park has to offer. There are three tours on Father’s Day, at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Want to spice up Dad’s life? Then take him to Casa de Bandini in Carlsbad for the Fiesta Brunch from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. at 1901 Calle Barcelona. Brunch is $20 for parents and $13 for kids younger than 10.

Fun for the whole family can be had at the Disc Golf field at Morley Park. The park opens at sunrise and cost is $4 per person on Father's Day.

Balboa Park will host a Father's Day Walk at 9 a.m. at 2201 Morley Field Dr. focusing on California's native plants. The private tour will be followed by a 1.5 mile hike on the Florida Canyon trails.
