We Could Have the AFC or NFC Championship On Monday Night Football

With the Giants and Jets becoming elite forces in their respective conferences, there is an problem on the horizon. What happens if the Giants and Jets are supposed to host the NFC and AFC Championship games? After all, they play in the same stadium.

It could happen. The Giants have a healthy lead in the NFC and should have home field throughout the NFC playoffs. While the Jets are still two games back of the Titans for the AFC home field, there is a chance that they could host the AFC Championship if someone beats the Titans in the divisional round.

If that happens, how in the heck could they pull off both games in the same stadium on Sunday Jan. 18?

Commissioner Roger Goodell has the solution: play one of the games the Monday after. Goodell said that one of the championship games would take place on Sunday night while the other would be played on Monday night. No word on if CBS would be bent if they had to move "Two and a Half Men" to show some football.
