Evan Diamond walked away with the 2019 San Diego Music Award for Best Singer-Songwriter, and tonight you can see her live at the Casbah, or head to Soda Bar for Denver psych-rockers Flaural. If you're up for some punk intensity, PunchCard leads a killer lineup at Tower Bar or get into the spirit of Cinco de Mayo a little early with Cumbia Machin at Manhattan Bar in Chula Vista. Looking down the lineup, there's no shortage of events, and lots of them are no or low cover, so you can always check out live music even when you're on a budget.
