Dia de los Muertos

Join us Saturday October 27th at 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive, Encinitas for this annual celebration that brings together local and regional talents celebrating the visual and performing arts related to a major Mexican cultural event. Established to foster an appreciation and awareness of Latino Cultural Celebration, Dia de los Muertos offers free family-friendly programming to North County residents of Latino heritage while uniting people of all backgrounds and traditions. Visitors experience a variety of art-making workshops, artist demonstrations, student exhibitions, live Mariachi and other musical performances while having an opportunity to actively participate in a “Community Ofrenda,” a public recognition of family and friends. The third annual event is scheduled to occur this coming October 30th at the Encinitas Community Center.

Stop by the NBC 7 / Telemundo Street Team booth for fun games and prizes. See you there!
