Can we postpone Monday just a little longer so we can get used to Daylight Savings Time and enjoy our Sunday to the fullest? Especially with so many great shows around town. At the Irenic, Empress Of blends R&B and pop for a unique indie sound that had her deemed the best new music just a few short years ago while singer-songwriter Julia Holter brings her interesting baroque pop to the Loft at UCSD. Reptaliens are super weirdos in the best way possible and are appropriately playing at Space while the Casbah hosts a rare early comedy show with Kate Berlant. For old American Idol fans, head out to Sycuan Casino to catch former contestant Ruben Studdard perform a night of Luther Vandross hits.
