Early Bird Catches the Tweet: Breakfast with Ochocinco

Talk about the ultimate Tweet-Up: followers of Chad Ochocinco got a treat Saturday morning when the football superstar had breakfast with his fans at a Denny's off Miramar Rd.

It all started Friday night when Ochocinco sent out this tweet from his @OGOchoCinco twitter handle.

"One last thing can somebody pick me up for breakfast in the morning, I need an awesome meal please, I wake up at 6 a.m. so ill be waiting."

Fans tweeted back all evening, offering ideas of places of local places to eat. When Ochocinco woke up, he documented the rest of his morning accordingly:

"Well I'm up here in my hotel but its only 4:29, this is my normal arising time, now what do I do?"

"I am walking over to the beach to watch the sunset with SLIM" we need to know where to go eat breakfast to H1N5+H8N5= Swagg Flu"

(Slim is a reference to deceased teammate Chris Henry.)

"I walk out my room and security on our floor said I can't leave, SLIM screamed child please, we on the elevator now, this ain't jail! WTF"

"Security is on our floor to keep visitors from wandering up here, he acting like its Ft. Knox"

"Okay I'm outside but all of LaJolla seems to be closed! Can someone please come get me for an early breakfast, I'm at the Hyatt Regency"

Twitter user @RevAmbi was one of the first to reply about coming to actually get him, to which Ochocinco replied:

"@RevAmbi  if someone comes before you get here everybody is welcome to breakfast where ever we go eat, its on me and Slim."

Fans eventually came and he and the group went to Denny's on Miramar Rd. The morning concluded with a trip to Starbucks and a group picture.

The Chargers play the Bengals at Qualcomm this Sunday at 1:05 p.m.
