A bride’s dress could be a dream come true – for both the bride and a cancer patient.
“Brides Against Breast Cancer” is selling discounted wedding gowns Friday and Saturday to benefit terminally ill breast cancer patients.
Proceeds from the gown sales will fund the last wishes of the cancer patients.
The gowns will be on sale Friday and Saturday August 19 and 20 at the San Diego Marriott on 4240 La Jolla Village Drive. General admission times on Friday go from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday, from 10 a.m. 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Most of the gowns are new, donated by designers. Others are used gowns – usually only worn once.
Prices for the gowns are from $199 and up.
