Dirty Heads and 311 Announce Summer Show

Dirty Heads will join 311 at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre on Aug. 11

It's March 11, so you know what that means.... 311 day. And with that comes some perfectly timed news: Dirty Heads will join 311 at North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre on Aug. 11.

It looks like it will come just in the nick of time, too, as their 13th album is set for release at the beginning of summer. Oh, and, the next installment of the 311 documentary series, "Enlarged to Show Detail 3," will be showing in theaters today and today only.

311 day is looking pretty great for reggae fusion fans right about now, I guess.

Frontman Nick Hexum sang on Dirty Heads' 2017 album, "Swim Team," and something tells me they'll be performing on stage together for this mega irie show.

It hasn't been long since we've had this kind of energy, as 311 got all mixed up down south with a Chula Vista sunset in July last year, and Dirty Heads played the same venue, formerly known as Mattress Firm Amphitheatre, in May. They're already back for more, though, so don't stay home.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 15 at 10 a.m. and pre-sales go live on March 14 at 7 a.m.
