An ad run in a local paper on Tuesday is taking advantage of the holiday season to offer what it calls "a great gift for you and your loved ones."
Dignity Memorial raised some eyebrows Tuesday with its full-page ad in Tuesday's San Diego Union-Tribune. "There's never been a better time to purchase your final resting place than now," the company says in its ad. In what may be a sign of the economic times, the company is giving customers a 60-day grace period if it receives a down payment from customers by New Year's Eve.
Dignity Memorial also said in the ad that it would refund interest payments to people who buy burial plots by the end of the year and pay their bills within two years.
