This year, Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy played just about every major festival there is. Next year, he's coming to San Diego for what's likely to be a sold-out headlining show at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre.
On Feb. 3, 2020, Kennedy will perform at San Diego State University's campus amphitheater, which can seat some 4,500+ attendees.
The last time the "Power Over Me" singer played San Diego was in April of this year, right around his Coachella doubleheader, at Observatory North Park -- and that was without a studio album to his name.
On Oct. 4, 2019, Kennedy will release his major label debut, "Without Fear," which, if the current singles are any indication, is likely to climb the charts in a big way.
So, if folk-pop is your thing, Kennedy is a rising artist to watch.
