Yesterday was declared the busiest travel day for the holidays which means between now and Christmas, you're not going to find a whole lot in the way of touring acts, though some are still popping up. Take Peter White for example, who does his annual smooth jazz Christmas show at Balboa Theatre, though he currently lives in LA which is a pretty simple trek; or Rebelution frontman Eric Rachmeny, based in the Bay Area, who plays a sold-out show tonight at the Belly Up. Mostly it's a low-key dance night, with events like Black Friday at the Casbah, Club Purple at Space, and Hemlock at Bar Pink. You can definitely find a good time tonight and I have a feeling the next few days are going to be full of holiday spirits, so pace yourself and have some fun.
