Cops Confess Superstitions

The men and women in blue are not immune to superstitions, according to a published report.

The San Diego Union-Tribune talked to some local law-enforcement officers who admitted that they have good luck charms and routines.

Sgt. Graham Young of the National City Police Department told the paper he’s worn a Celtic cross every day of the 13 years he’s been on the force.  Another officer told the U-T she has a lucky pen set.

Then there’s the Q word. It seems like many people who ride in patrol cars like to avoid commenting out loud that it’s “quiet.”
