When I was a little girl, I loved Men at Work. I was obsessed with anything Australian and to this day, hearing "Down Under" lights me up. But in adulthood, it was the softer side of Colin Hay that hooked me. The raspiness of his voice and the intimacy of his lyrics make him one of the best singer-songwriters of our time. Tonight, the legend plays at Humphreys Concerts by the Bay and I just might have to strap my canoe to the roof and head out to Point Loma for the evening (check out the SoundDiego interview with Hay here).
