Fight for a cause and listen to some seriously good music. In Normal Heights, residents are trying to save their community recreation center through the Art Around Adams Music and Arts Festival.
On Saturday the AAA will host its 6th Annual event -- a two-part creative arts celebration. The first part is a nod to local artists offering over 65 free galleries on The Avenue. (A trolley escorts guests through the route.)
The second part is a Coachellla-esque festival in the 7,500-person capacity Adams Recreation Center. Three stages will highlight the best entertainment in San Diego from stand-up comics to blacklight theatre.
All ages are welcome; entry is $15 and will start at 11 a.m. and runs until 10 p.m.
