Celebrate World Ocean's Day with San Diego Coastkeeper.
The United Nations General Assembly declared June 8th World Ocean's Day and San Diego Coastkeeper has decided to celebrate. A celebration of the special day is planned at Hennessey's Tavern in La Jolla from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
The group will teach people how to lessen their impact on the environment. Teams can also compete in the World Oceans Day games, while learning about La Jolla’s Areas of Special Biological Significance (ASBS).
Entrance to the event is free for members, but you become a member by signing up at the door.
